“TimeFactor makes you want to be creative, even at the moment when you have run out of ideas.” – Bootsy Collins
Conveying nothing short of a bona fide rhythmic and groovy bassist sound, Bootsy Collins is recognized as one of the most distinguished bassists in the development of funk music. Today he continues his more than thirty years of success in the music industry by using Eventide’s TimeFactor effects pedal. Known primarily for his role in Parliament/Funkadelic and as the lead singer/bassist of Bootsy’s Rubber Band in the late 70’s, Collins has recently turned to producing movie, video game, and animation scores.
“The versatility of the TimeFactor helps me twist and funk up my time delays,” stated Collins. “Given the opportunity to do that has really kept me in a 70’s music-style state of mind.”
Bootsy’s Rubber Band collaborated around a musical sensibility that was at the forefront of a new genre of music in the late 70’s. Collins often drove the group’s songs with his eclectic sound and has recently transferred that sound into today’s music realm with the use of the TimeFactor pedal.
The Eventide TimeFactor crams nearly 40 years of Eventide studio quality effects technology into the trimmed down form of a stompbox. Eventide has taken its 10 best delay effects and integrated them into a compact stompbox that produces guitar effects equally well in the studio and holds up as a robust road tool that fits into a pedal board. TimeFactor includes 9 stereo or dual mono delay effects, including Digital Delay, vintage DDL, Tape Echo, Modulated Delay and Ducked Delay, as well as Band Delay, Filter Pong, MultiTap Delay, Reverse Delay, plus a 16 second vari-speed Looper.
TimeFactor offers real time control of all the parameters via 10 knobs, expression pedal, or a MIDI footcontroller. TimeFactor has 40 presets and features tap tempo, MIDI clock sync, line and instrument inputs and outputs, USB for software upgrades, and true analog bypass. It is housed in a rugged cast metal construction featuring reliable metal footswitches for direct preset access.
“Eventide does not produce anything but quality products,” said Collins. “The moment I was informed that this came out in a stompbox, I had no doubt that I needed to own one for my own musical endeavors.”
Currently, working with the TimeFactor, Collins is developing sounds that distinguish him from others in the business of production.
“This product challenges you to go beyond where the normal musician would go,” said Collins. “The TimeFactor makes you want to be creative, even at the moment when you have run out of ideas.”

ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME LEGEND, BOOTSY COLLINS, TURNS TO EVENTIDE’S TIMEFACTOR TO “FUNK UP HIS DELAYS”
GUITARIST SAM KEARNEY OPENS FOR OASIS WITH ALBERTA CROSS AND EVENTIDE’S TIMEFACTOR
“I have the ability to control the rates of the left and right channels separately, which gives the TimeFactor a huge advantage over other pedals.” -Kearney
Emerging band Alberta Cross is currently touring the U.K. with Oasis and lead guitarist, Sam Kearney, has selected Eventide’s TimeFactor for its wide range of effects and delay capabilities. In addition to the current tour, Kearney also applied the TimeFactor to the band’s debut full-length album for release in April 2009, on Ark Recordings. The band’s previously released hits are critically acclaimed and include “Low Man” that was featured as the closing song to an episode of Showtime’s ‘Californication’.
“I came across the TimeFactor a year ago and it has filled a void in my playing,” Kearney states. “I have seen a big improvement and the stereo-delays are very helpful. I have the ability to control the rates of the left and right channels separately, which gives the TimeFactor a huge advantage over other pedals. The straight forward interface plus the wide variety of sounds puts this pedal head and shoulders above the others.”
TimeFactor features 10 stereo or mono delay effects and gives musicians, as well as engineers, the power to adapt to any music style. The provided effects include: digital delay, vintage delay, tape echo, mod delay, ducked delay, band delay, filter pong, multi-tap, reverse, and looper. TimeFactor offers real-time control with the expression pedal and instant Preset access. The plug-and-play expression pedal control works with wet/dry mixes or any combination of parameters.
“I love the capabilities of the TimeFactor and the pedal offers users more options than a traditional delay pedal,” explained Kearney. “This product is perfect for live performances as the guitarist can balance the sound and lock in with the drummer. The capabilities of the TimeFactor help the band to be in sync at all times, which is a tremendous advantage.”

EVENTIDE’S ECLIPSE V4.0 SOFTWARE UPGRADE INCLUDES TIMEFACTOR and PITCHFACTOR EFFECTS
Eventide today announced the release of V4.0 software for its Eclipse Harmonizer® processor, further demonstrating its commitment to the thousands of Eclipse owners and the capabilities of the product. Most importantly, the new software adds the entire catalog of Eventide TimeFactor and ModFactor stompbox effects to over 500 presets. The V4.0 software release adds the ability to run full Eventide stompbox algorithms and other select Eclipse effects simultaneously. As an example, users now have the ability to run stereo delays feeding an ambience effect while the stompbox parameters will be mapped to the four hot keys on the Eclipse. The new software also significantly accelerates program loading.
Widely used by professional touring musicians, live sound engineers, and top recording studios alike, the Eclipse Harmonizer comprises hundreds of Eventide’s best effects in a compact dual-engine processor which is capable of running two stereo effects at one time, either in serial or parallel. Any parameter can be adjusted in real time using a standard MIDI foot controller or an expression pedal, making the Eclipse one of the most expressive effects processors available.
“This milestone software release makes the Eclipse even more enticing,” noted Ray Maxwell, Eventide vice president of sales and marketing. “We continue to add value and optimize the performance of this superb hardware processor with the addition of our best-selling TimeFactor and ModFactor algorithms. With this update, the Eclipse maintains its edge as the go-to rack processor for performance or studio. Now, in the studio, you can have the very same effects that appear in our stompboxes also accessible with S/PDIF, AES or ADAT digital I/O.”
The new software will be released to public beta by the end of January and will be released to production in February 2009. Eclipse V4.0 software is a free download for Eclipse owners who have registered their product at Eventide.com.

STEVEN TRACY OF THE MYRIAD AUGMENTS VERSATILE STYLE WITH EVENTIDE’S MODFACTOR STOMPBOX
Currently touring with an Eventide ModFactor, Steven Tracy of Seattle-based rock band, The Myriad, is exploiting the versatility and high performance of Eventide’s newest stompbox. Tracy, a guitarist, pianist and keyboardist, purchased the ModFactor for its high-quality modulation effects and portability while The Myriad, MTV2’s Breakout Band of the Year, travels across the United States.
The Myriad recently released the album “With Arrows, With Poise” (Koch Records) and was featured on MTV as the “Artist of the Week” at the time of the release. The album was mixed at Hansa Studios in Berlin, Germany by Michael Ilbert (The Cardigans, Kent, The Hives) and mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London, England by Adam Nunn (Air, Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand, George Martin, Mogwai), as well as at acclaimed Sterling Sound in New York City by Greg Calbi (Beastie Boys, John Mayer, Interpol, Norah Jones). Since the album's release, the band has toured extensively, playing with bands such as Lovedrug, mewithoutYou, Mutemath and As Tall As Lions.
The diversity of The Myriad’s music requires a comprehensive effects box that features immediate access to customized controls and studio quality performance. “The Myriad’s genre of music is very diverse and artistic and we need to replicate a wide variety of modulation effects to provide the same sonic complexity that we achieve in the studio,” Tracy said. “I chose ModFactor because it produces tremendous effects and because its capabilities are seemingly endless.”
ModFactor delivers studio quality performance with the speed and convenience of a stompbox. ModFactor also provides an added level of flexibility with built-in capabilities such as: a plug-and-play expression pedal input for control of wet/dry mix, or any combination of parameters; MIDI program change and parameter control; instrument or line level inputs and outputs; and seamless adaptation with a wide variety of amps and other foot pedals.
Commenting on the application, Eventide Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Ray Maxwell said, “With the range of tools available to recording artists and producers, it’s gratifying to see how today’s top performers, engineers and producers naturally gravitate to Eventide stompboxes in the same way rock icons Led Zeppelin and Frank Zappa used the original Eventide rack-mount processors to create their own signature sound.”

ANDRE’ CHOLMONDELEY ADDS TO MULTI-FACETED GUITAR SOUND WITH EVENTIDE TIMEFACTOR STOMPBOX
“The TimeFactor lets me do things during performances that I wouldn’t be able to do unless I had both hands free, and then some.”
– Andre’ Cholmondeley, guitarist
Andre’ Cholmondeley, best known as a guitarist for Zappa-repertoire band Project/Object, has distinguished himself by his uniquely versatile approach to the instrument. As such, Cholmondeley regards technology as a very crucial extension of his guitar. This attitude led Cholmondeley to the Eventide TimeFactor stompbox, which he has incorporated into his sound for the studio and on the road. As guitar-tech for experimental guitar icon Adrian Belew, and formerly Al DiMeola, Cholmondeley has worked with most of the top delay and effects devices available.
In addition to Project/Object, Cholmondeley is involved in other projects including Delicious (a 3-piece psychedelic instrumental band) and Don Preston, Frank Zappa’s original synthesizer player. While the diversity of Cholmondeley’s numerous projects belies his experimental nature, Cholmondeley has found common technical threads between different musical styles and eras. “Echo and delay have always been major components in modern music,” he said. “All those bands in the 1960s used vintage tape delay and reverb was always a big thing. With the TimeFactor I can recreate that ‘60s, vintage tape delay sound, but I can also find delays heard in today’s music. So this little box actually takes you through the different eras of music, one delay at a time!”
Utilizing the TimeFactor’s stereo input and output, Cholmondeley runs his guitar through two amplifiers. “Since Delicious is a trio, I need to fill up a lot of space and the TimeFactor gives me a real nice wash of sound,” he said.
Additionally, since the TimeFactor stompbox boasts a level of functionality normally only found in rackmount equipment, Cholmondeley can now take studio-quality performance to the road. “I’ve owned every kind of delay pedal, I’ve worked with tape delays in the studio, but the TimeFactor lets me do things during performances that I wouldn’t be able to do unless I had both hands free, and then some,” he said. “The ability to save different delays in patches and store so many different settings is really unique for a pedal.”
Cholmondeley also cites the TimeFactor’s modulation effects (including chorus and light flanging) as unique yet extremely beneficial features of the stompbox. “Nobody has incorporated modulation into a foot pedal to this extent,” he said. “Combine that with the ability to store the delays in so many different combinations, and my live performances have really become 3-dimensional.”
EVENTIDE E-CONTROL PROVIDES PRO TOOLS CONTROL INTEGRATION WITH H8000, H7600, AND ECLIPSE HARDWARE PROCESSORS
Underscoring its commitment to continually advance the performance and workflow integration of its audio production tools, Eventide unveiled a new TDM plug-in that provides real-time control of its award-winning Eventide H8000 series, H7600, and Eclipse™ multi-effects processors. E-Control™ provides multiple parameter control automation, and program change capability, which is saved with the session for easy recall from within ProTools. The E-Control plug-in for ProTools will be available in December for $199. E-Control will be available at no charge for a limited time with the H8000FW, H7600, and Eclipse hardware processors purchased after September 1, 2007.
According to Ray Maxwell, Eventide Vice President of Sales and Marketing, “With E-Control, we’re providing a deeper level of integration, allowing all ProTools users to more easily take advantage of the thousands of extraordinary effects found in our hardware boxes. By bridging the divide between outboard processors and desktop workflow, we’re providing Pro Tools users with a cost-effective and intuitive way to get the most from Eventide outboard processors. We are combining unfettered access to the vast universe of effects, heard on countless hit records over the past 36 years, with the convenience of control automation and instant recall from within the session.”
EVENTIDE RELEASES VERSION 5.3 UPGRADE FOR H8000FW: INCLUDES SUPPORT FOR LEOPARD AND VISTA OPERATING SYSTEMS
Further demonstrating its customer commitment by continually upgrading its range of effects processors, Eventide today introduced Version 5.3 upgrade for its H8000 series. In doing so, the company makes its H8000FW compliant with Apple Leopard, and Windows Vista, in addition to other improvements including advanced system stability with FireWire and a more intuitive driver control panel.
“In a contemporary production studio or live sound environment, efficient workflow relies upon the transparent integration of diverse hardware and software. With this in mind, we seek to maintain our emphasis on providing a diverse range of signature effects to enhance the creative process, and seamlessly integrate our products into our customer’s workflow,” said Ray Maxwell, Eventide vice president of sales and marketing. “Today’s introduction of H8000 Version 5.3 does exactly this.”
Upgrades are available immediately at no charge for registered owners at eventide.com. V5.3 also includes system improvements to the H8000 series’ sample rate converter, routings and levels set-up architecture. Customers simply download a zip file for Mac or PC and the folder will contain installation files and a comprehensive updated user manual.
Eventide’s most powerful processor ever, the H8000FW, features a stunning 1,800 programs. Users can rely on the H8000FW to deliver the entire spectrum of Eventide effects, without taxing any processing power from their CPU. The H8000FW features Monolithic Tandem™, which allows both processors to operate together, facilitating large complex algorithms, including 5.1 reverb and effects or up to eight channels of processing up to 96kHz. The H8000FW also includes 20 MIDI Virtual Rack preset-algorithms featuring up to five full-blown effects processors ganged together with real-time MIDI control, each optimized for voice, guitar, or percussion. The H8000FW features eight channels of digital audio I/O via AES/EBU, ADAT, and FireWire, all 24-bit up to 96kHz. In addition, the H8000FW incorporates four channels of pristine analog I/O with a dynamic range of >110dB. With Eventide’s exclusive Building Block Architecture, users can create their own unique preset-algorithms with the library of 230 effects blocks using the supplied PC and OS X preset development tools.
“Our goal is to make eventide.com the go-to destination for our customers to download upgrades, learn more about their products, interact with their peers and generally extract more enjoyment and productivity from the tools we make,” Maxwell continued. “Today’s upgrade is another reason to visit eventide.com and we’ll continue to make the site a place where our customers can do more and learn more!”
KORA MUSICIAN DAVID GILDEN FINDS THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS WITH EVENTIDE TIMEFACTOR STOMPBOX
“Eventide has really packed a lot of features into a small box.”
– David Gilden, musician
Drawn to the benefits of having rackmount effects processor capabilities in an affordable and upgradeable stompbox, accomplished kora musician David Gilden recently added an Eventide TimeFactor effects pedal to his touring rig. Since the 1980s, Gilden has toured extensively as a solo artist and with the band Cora Connection, and is one of the world’s most accomplished masters of the kora, a traditional African harp-lute.
After experimenting unsuccessfully with other stompboxes and processors, Gilden discovered the TimeFactor, a twin delay stompbox that includes Eventide’s 10 best delay effects integrated into a compact, upgradeable package. “I listened to the online demo, heard some of the effects and was totally blown away, because it has the sounds of bigger boxes that typically cost $2,000 or more,” Gilden said.
The TimeFactor features MIDI, USB for software upgrades, and 10 time-tested stereo or dual mono delay effects, including Digital Delay, Vintage Delay, Tape Echo, Modulated Delay, Ducked Delay, Band Delay, Filter Pong, MultiTap Delay, Reverse Delay, and a 12-second Looper. Additionally, v2.0 software is now available for the TimeFactor. The software, free to registered users, downloads and installs easily by simply plugging the USB outlet into an Internet-connected computer, and provides users with an impressive set of new features and improvements.
As a successful touring musician, Gilden was attracted to the TimeFactor’s compact size. “Eventide has really packed a lot of features into a small box,” he said. “Most comparable pedals are 20 percent bigger and I would need three of them to get all the sounds I can get from the TimeFactor. Normally at gigs, it takes me 20 minutes to set up my equipment and another 20 minutes to break down. Now I can see myself plugging in a preamp for the kora, plugging in the TimeFactor, and I’m good to go.”
Further adding to Gilden’s convenience is the TimeFactor’s versatility and ease of programmability. According to Gilden, “With the TimeFactor, you can pair up multiple presets in different banks. Now I have an infinite amount of possibilities stored and when I go to gigs, I can easily access all of them.”
However, the benefits of the TimeFactor go far beyond convenience. With so many features enabling a limitless combination of delay effects, the TimeFactor is easily customizable to suit any musician’s style. “You have to spend some time with it to make it your own,” Gilden said. “I have some really dreamy washes and have done some really cool things where I can build up a couple layers of sound, hit the infinite repeat and then solo on top of it.”

GUITARIST KEVIN HUNTER FINDS THE TECHNOLOGY TO MATCH HIS TALENT WITH EVENTIDE STOMPBOXES
“The TimeFactor and ModFactor offer so much flexibility in a compact pedal.”
– Kevin Hunter, guitarist.
Looking for the perfect combination of versatility, performance and portability, guitarist Kevin Hunter has added the Eventide TimeFactor and ModFactor stompboxes to his repertoire. Hunter, the former guitarist for Jive Records recording artist Lesley Roy, is currently working on a project with producer Hal Willner (Lou Reed, Lucinda Williams, Marianne Faithfull).
Hunter’s list of credits speaks to his versatility as a guitarist. He has worked with a variety of artists that includes Shania Twain, Janet Jackson, Al Jarreau and P. Diddy, to name a few. When discussing Hunter’s influences (which range from pop acts like the Beatles, Van Halen and Radiohead to less mainstream guitarists like Alan Holdsworth), the roots of this versatility become apparent, as does his need for a diverse array of effects. “I’ve gone through hundreds of different effects boxes and am always trying to stretch my boundaries,” Hunter said. “A friend of mine told me about the Eventide pedals and recommended I try them out. I have an Eventide H8000FW in my recording studio in Amsterdam, and I called up Eventide and they were able to answer all my questions.”
Hunter purchased a TimeFactor and a ModFactor—Eventide’s first two stompbox models. Small enough to fit on a pedalboard or in a gigbag, the TimeFactor and ModFactor are full-featured Eventide studio-quality stompboxes. The TimeFactor twin delay stompbox includes 10 stereo or dual mono delay effects, including Digital Delay, Vintage Delay, Tape Echo, Modulated Delay, Ducked Delay, Band Delay, Filter Pong, MultiTap Delay, Reverse Delay and Looper. The ModFactor modulation effects stompbox includes 25 of Eventide’s best modulation effects, including multiple versions of Phaser, Flanger, Chorus, PolyMod, TremoloPan, Undulator, Vibrato, Q-Wah, ModFilter and RingMod.
Since Hunter purchased the TimeFactor and ModFactor pedals, they have become a fixture in his rig, both in the studio and on the road. “I used to carry a lot of effects boxes around with me but now I just carry the two Eventide pedals with an expression pedal for each and a T Rex Dr. Swamp distortion pedal,” he said. “They offer so much flexibility in a compact pedal.”

Eventide Eclipse Provides We Are Scientists With Big Sound In Small Package For The Road
Eventide’s Eclipse™, single rack space effects processor, is providing renowned Front-of-House engineer, Titus, with a wide range of classic Eventide effects in the smallest possible footprint. Currently on tour in Europe, the band, We Are Scientists, relies on Titus to form the contour of sounds for its eclectic shows. Titus turns to the Eclipse for that power.
“I’ve been using the H3000 for 10 years and nothing compares to that,” said Titus. “But it got so beat up on the road I had to find something new. The Eclipse was the perfect solution because the sound is great, it’s powerful and versatile, and so slim. I can put it in a small rack along with other pieces of outboard gear and still stow it in an overhead compartment for fly dates. Now I never have to compromise my sound at a venue that does not have the quality gear that I need.”
Among the powerful capabilities in the Eclipse toolbox that Titus depends on is the dual-engine architecture, which allows two stereo effects to run at the same time, either in parallel or serial. Titus finds that the ability to use the two engines separately, or to sum the analog and digital inputs together, offers the requisite flexibility of operation needed for his application.
Eclipse offers 90 of Eventide’s best effects chosen from over 37 years of boundary-smashing effects, widely heard on hit records spanning a multitude of genres. Eclipse has 390 great presets ranging from the Eventide signature micropitch shift to shimmer effects to multi-voice diatonic pitch shifting, delays, choruses, phasing and flanging. The Eclipse offers a wide variety of interfacing options from ADAT, AES, or S/PDIF digital inputs and outputs, to balanced XLRs, or hi impedance ¼” inputs for interfacing with instruments or in the insert loop of an amplifier.
“The Eventide reverb and pitch algorithms are unparalleled,” Titus said. “Nothing compares to them. When I’m very busy and don’t have time to program, I know I can rely on the presets to deliver what I need.”

Sound Designer Peter Zinda Deploys Eventide Anthology II On Major Hollywood Films
Eventide’s Anthology II TDM plug-in bundle has allowed prominent film sound designer, Peter Zinda, to transition from his trusted Eventide DSP4000 and other outboard processors to a plug-in bundle that provides him with a panoply of sounds unavailable anywhere else.
“My DSP4000 is one of the few outboard pieces I still reach for,” said Zinda. “But now, the Anthology II plug-in bundle gives me that great Eventide sound, along with programmability and the power to automate parameters on any track. Anthology II also allows me to use multiple instances of plug-ins in the same session which I couldn’t do with my outboard gear.”
Zinda has also found that, when the processing chain is saved inside the session, it becomes easier to go back to a project at a later date. It also enables him to collaborate with another sound editor – all useful tools when working on a major feature film release.
Such command of a broad array of sonic tools serves Zinda well in his many well-known projects. He has served as sound designer and sound effects editor on a vast number of major Hollywood releases such as The Express, Mission: Impossible III, Blade 2, and Chronicles of Riddick. His efforts in the studio have garnered him the Golden Reel Award for Best Sound Editing for Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, and he has been nominated for awards on many other projects.
Anthology II contains:

Eventide Anthology II Plug-ins Underscore Sonic Creations Of Grammy Nominated Producer Eric Rosse
Eventide’s Anthology II TDM Plug-in bundle, drawing on decades of boundary smashing effects, provides a foundation for many of the innovative sounds of illustrious, Grammy ®-nominated producer Eric Rosse.
A professional musician and composer, as well as producer, Rosse is also known for scoring the highly acclaimed film Hand of Fate. He has worked closely with Gold and Platinum selling artists like Tori Amos, Anna Nalick, Lisa Marie Presley, and Sara Bareilles. Rosse produced the groundbreaking first album of Tori Amos, Little Earthquakes, and continued working with her on her Grammy nominated second album, Under The Pink, which produced smash hit singles across the globe. Rosse now works out of SquawkBox Studio in Silverlake, Los Angeles, maintaining control of projects from development through production, recording, and finishing. In his studio, he relies on Eventide’s Anthology II bundle for a sonic foundation.
“I depend on the great sounds in the Anthology II bundle first and foremost,” said Rosse, “but I also count on their ease of use and depth of programmability. When I’m mixing, just about all the processors are being used, and effects such as Eventide’s great sounding reverbs come in handy for recording drums, guitars and vocals.”
Rosse’s current projects, all of which involve him relying upon Anthology II, include the band White Tie Affair, whose eponymous album will be released on Epic this year. For that project, Rosse leaned heavily on Anthology’s EQ, reverb, compressors, and distortion for special effects and re-amping instruments. Beyond that, Rosse also kept busy with a recently released record by Sara Bareillas and on Anna Nalick’s second album. Nalick’s single was just released, and a preview EP is to be released shortly. Producing and mixing a new rock band on Mercury called Sparky’s Flaw, Rosse drew on Anthology II for EQ and reverb especially.
“The plug-ins in Anthology II speak to me sonically, like my favorite pieces of analog gear do,” Rosse said. “I still use my old Eventide H-3000/SE - it has never gone out of style. Quality is the most important aspect of any piece of gear — even above convenience — and the heritage of Eventide evolving into the Anthology II plug-ins provides both.”
Anthology II contains:
E-Channel™ - configurable channel strip with gate, compressor/limiter with sidechain, and 5-band 48-bit double precision parametric equalization
EQ45 Parametric Equalizer - vintage 48-bit double precision 4-band equalization with high and low cut 12dB/octave filters

LITTLE FERRY, NJ, MARCH 19, 2008 — Peter Thorn is one of the world’s most in-demand guitarists, having worked in the studio and toured with the likes of Chris Cornell, Alicia Keys, Brian Ray, Ben Jelen, and many others. He is currently using Eventide’s new effects pedal, TimeFactor, in the studio and will be incorporating it into his touring rig, as well. Eventide, the foremost provider of studio quality effects for more than 37 years, has brought that knowledge to bear on TimeFactor, providing guitarists with a flexible performance tool, delivering studio quality effects in a sturdy, compact package.
Thorn is well-known for his resourcefulness as a guitarist and for delivering the right sounds at the right times, the very definition of an excellent musician. The versatility of the Eventide TimeFactor, with numerous presets and the ability to access so many great sounds so easily, provides Thorn with a powerful musical resource.
“TimeFactor seems like the coolest thing out there in a pedal format,” said Thorn. “The programmability is great, with a good number of presets I can store, which I need because of the different sounds I make for numerous gigs and artists. Also, the tape and analog delays sound awesome and the switchable input and output levels are great, making it possible to use in so many different applications.”
Having used the celebrated Eventide H3000 for years in the studio, Thorn was eager to see that there was finally a pedal that could deliver the sound depth and clarity that studio device was known for. The great sound, programmability, and convenient form factor make it the natural choice for guitar players.
Eventide has taken its 10 best delay effects of the last 37 years and built them into a compact package. TimeFactor works great in the studio and holds up as a robust road tool that fits on a pedal board. TimeFactor includes 10 stereo or dual mono delay effects, including Digital Delay, Vintage Delay, Tape Echo, Modulated Delay, and Ducked Delay, as well as Band Delay, Filter Pong, MultiTap Delay, Reverse Delay, and Looper.

TimeFactor includes 20 factory presets, and an unlimited number of user presets through MIDI. TimeFactor offers true analog bypass, is housed in a rugged cast metal construction featuring reliable metal footswitches for instant preset access. TimeFactor is upgradeable through USB 2.0 for registered owners at eventide.com.
