Hitachi Debuts The CP-WUX645N 3LCD Projector

-- The CP-WUX645N Delivers WUXGA Resolution And Networking To Large Venues --

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, June 9, 2010 — Hitachi America, Ltd., Digital Media Division, Business Solutions Group is debuting the CP-WUX645N 3LCD projector; a new projector that combines ease of installation and functionality with superior technology and advanced operation.  With WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, 10-bit image processing and a brightness of 4,200 ANSI lumens, the CP-WUX645N is the ideal projector for large venues and for viewing HDTV content.

The CP-WUX645N offers a wealth of exclusive features, including Hitachi’s Perfect Fit technology.  Perfect Fit enables precise adjustment of the projected image by moving the four corners individually. A 2x zoom lens helps flexible installation. Users can also manually shift the lens horizontally and vertically without causing image distortion.

The projector’s Picture by Picture feature allows users to project two images from two separate computers (or one computer and one video [or HDMI] source) on one screen at the same time for side-by-side viewing of the two desktops.

The advanced networking functions of the CP-WUX645N allow users to manage and completely control multiple projectors over an entire LAN system.  Scheduling, e-mail and image transfers are easily controlled through the CP-WUX645N.

The CP-WUX645N also offers advanced connectivity, with an HDMI input allowing for the transmission of uncompressed digital audio/video streams. Other inputs include an RGB port, BNC, Component, S-Video and Composite connectivity.

The CP-WUX645N includes a hybrid filter, making maintenance and cleaning less frequent, translating into longer operation. With the hybrid filter, cleaning frequency is extended to 2,000 hours.

A security bar allows easy attachment of a security chain.  Advanced security features such as the CP-WUX645N PIN lock can limit the number of users for the projector. In addition, the transition detector can prevent unauthorized use of the projector.
